Privacy Policy
This policy covers personal information collected through this website and through enquiries you make to Sree E-Waste Recycling. It is deliberately short, because we collect very little.
Last updated 23 August 2026
1. What we collect
Only what you type into the enquiry form on our contact page, which is your name, your mobile number, the service you are enquiring about and a description of what you have. An email address is optional and the form works without it. We do not ask for, and you should not send us, identity document numbers, bank details or payment card information through this website.
- Name — so we know who we are speaking to
- Mobile number — so we can confirm a collection slot
- Email address — optional
- Service type and your message — so the right person calls you back
2. Why we collect it
To respond to your enquiry, quote for the material you described, arrange a collection and keep a record of that collection. We do not use enquiry details for marketing campaigns, and we do not sell, rent or trade them to anyone.
3. Cookies and tracking
This website sets no cookies of its own, runs no analytics or advertising trackers, and does not build a profile of your browsing. There is no consent banner on this site because there is nothing to consent to. Two third parties are involved in delivering the page: web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, and images are served from Cloudinary — both will see your IP address as a normal consequence of your browser requesting a file, as any hosting provider does.
- No analytics, advertising or social media trackers
- No cookies set by this site
- Clicking the WhatsApp button opens WhatsApp, whose own privacy policy then applies
4. Who else sees it
Our own staff, for the purpose of responding to you and completing a collection. Beyond that, nobody — unless we are required to disclose something by law, a court, or a regulator, or where a bulk client's own compliance documentation requires a named contact for the collection they commissioned.
5. How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a collection are kept only as long as they are useful for following up, and are then deleted. Records connected to a completed collection are kept for as long as we need them for our own tax, accounting and e-waste compliance obligations, which may be several years.
6. Security
The site is served over HTTPS, so what you type into the form is encrypted in transit. Access to enquiry records is limited to staff who need it to do their job. No system is perfectly secure and we will not claim otherwise — which is another reason the form deliberately asks for so little.
7. Your rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, or ask us to delete it. Call the number on this site and tell us what you want done. Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you also have the right to escalate a grievance if you are not satisfied with how we handle your request.
8. Children
This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, call us and we will delete it.
9. Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version appears on this page with a new last updated date. We will not reduce your rights under a version you relied on without saying so clearly.
To exercise any of the rights above, or to raise a grievance about how your information has been handled, call us on the number shown throughout this site and ask for the person responsible for data protection.
