How do I book an e-waste pickup in Chennai?
Call +91 78455 61376, send a photo and rough weight on WhatsApp, or submit the form on this page. We confirm a slot — usually within 24–48 hours anywhere in the Chennai metro — then weigh at your address and pay on the spot for scrap purchases.
What are your collection centre timings?
Both centres are open Monday to Saturday, 9:00am to 7:00pm, and closed on Sunday. Drop-off has no minimum quantity. If you need a collection outside those hours for a business site, tell us when you call and we will arrange it.
Do I need an appointment to drop off e-waste?
No appointment for small drop-offs at either centre during working hours. For anything bulky — a fridge, a stack of monitors, a van load — call ahead so someone is free to receive and weigh it without you waiting.
Where are the Sree E-Waste collection centres in Chennai?
Two: Perungudi at Old, 46, Rajiv Gandhi Salai, Srinivasa Nagar, Kandhanchavadi — our head office — and Velachery at 14, Velachery Main Rd, Ram Nagar, Dhadeswaram Nagar. Both are marked on the maps on this page with directions.
Does Sree E-Waste charge for collection?
No. Collection is free anywhere in the Chennai metro, and we pay you for anything with recoverable value. Send a photo on WhatsApp and you will get an indicative price before anyone travels.
How quickly does Sree E-Waste respond to an enquiry?
Phone and WhatsApp are answered during working hours, Monday to Saturday 9:00am to 7:00pm. Form enquiries are answered the same working day. For bulk or corporate collections we usually arrange a site survey within two working days.
Can I get a quote from Sree E-Waste before collection?
Yes, and we prefer it. Send a photo and a rough weight or item count on WhatsApp and you will get an indicative price up front. The final figure is confirmed when the material is weighed in front of you at collection.
Is Sree E-Waste a government authorized recycler?
Yes — a government licensed e-waste handler operating under the trademark 'Redit Eco Recycling'. We provide our authorization details on request, which corporate and institutional clients usually need for their compliance or empanelment file.
